Starting a blog? Well, I did too, recently!
So to make everything perfect (according to me at least), I researched a lot about different types of elements I should put on my website.
To be honest, there is no fixed way or milestone that you need to achieve to make your website perfect, trust me there always will be more!
So today in this post we shall discuss what is a MOODBOARD, which are optional, again!
But if you want you can add one to enhance the look and feel of your website.
Below is the Mood board that i recently created for my Website.
WHAT IS MOODBOARD?
Moodboard, as the name suggests describes the mood and vibe of your website or blog or post maybe.
It gives an idea to your readers about the kind of content they can expect on your website.
Moodboard is a collection of photos/texts/elements put up in the form of a collage that gives your readers a vibe of your website.
It can be based upon a set topic or can be any material chosen at random. A mood board can be used to convey a general idea or feel about a particular topic.
HOW TO SELECT WHAT TO INCLUDE IN A MOODBOARD?
The main question here is what to put in the mood board you are creating for your website.
Take a look at your website or ask a friend to tell you the vibe that your website gives out.
That, my friend, should go out as a mood board.
You will need to pick up elements that would perfectly fit and would be relevant.
If your blog is about Fashion and if you put out pictures of travel in your mood blog it won’t be relevant.
Your readers will look at the mood board and will get an idea of the post.
HOW CAN YOU CREATE A MOOD BOARD?
Using CANVA!- That’s it.
Canva is a very powerful tool and once you get a hold of it, you can use it for everything, and by everything I mean EVERYTHING.
I Will talk about this beauty in some other post but for now, let us leave it here.
I am linking a video (very soon will be creating my video but this is pretty good too) for your reference so that you can create a beautiful and inspiring mood board-
Also, if you want to know more about mood boards and what to research in-depth, google is always an option but please refer to this blog post which I loved –
